Another Saskatoon winter conquered on a bike

The last of the snow has melted and its time to retire the winter bike gear. This winter was much rougher then previously remembered. The thermostat was bellow -50 for over a week this year. Nevertheless I spent every day on the bike. Willingly!
Saskatoon winters are a beautiful thing if you are prepared to dress for the extremes. The sky is always blue and the snow stays spotless and white throughout the entire season. The sound of the squeaky bike tires on the dry snow, in the absolute silence that engulfs the city, on really cold days is peaceful and exhilarating all at the same time.
