SaskCanola – Kick off to Good Health

I walked out of my first meeting with the client and headed straight for the store to get some canola oil. Ok, I lied, but I did get a strip of canola seeds and a roller that I could use to see how much oil is contained in each little seed.

Rolling, vigorously, over the seeds as their outer shells cracked under enormous pressure of the roller. The oil that blotted the test strip was all I needed to get a good start on the animation. A week later, and after a few revisions this is the 15sec animation that was produced.
